Drivers For Escorts – Good or Bad?
I got yet another email in from a potential agency owner wanting some advice and assistance. The reason he had approached me was because all he could find in relation to escort sites was what he himself called seedy naked pictures, agencies wanting money to join them and they “felt wrong”. He askd for info on some of the areas I know a few things about and I have already dealt with what I can call “The Right Escort” but he brought up the subject of drivers and would they be better to have or not.
Many agencies provide drivers and I fully understand the reason that they need to. Are many escorts honest? Actually, anyone who escorts because they are desperate for money I do believe needs treating carefully. A driver is more secure for the agency then. The driver delivers the escort to the client, they wait for them to finish and they take the commission back to the agency itself. The girl has no way of saying that she was not paid, did not receive the full money or lie about the duration of the booking. In this sense, the agency is certainly protecting itself from the traditional working girl’s need to lie because they don’t have major hesitations in biting the hand that feeds them so drivers for traditional escort agency that accept immediate bookings of short durations with girls who will happily accept they go out at short notice … definitely a positive.
On the other side of the coin though lies the type of driver who believes that an escort is a prostitute and that what he believes she gives to paying clients she will give to him or else. I jest you not … this does happen and as it has happened at the beginning of my development of Angels4You then I know what does happen.
I have had so many people ring me offering driving services and very few are female. Its a very male orientated occupation. I never had a driver when I escorted as I always felt that that was a controlled activity but at the beginning of Angels4You a few girls did not drive – they were 18 and could not afford cars at that time. I had to learn the hard way about young escort ages being a problem as well as drivers being a problem.
Having had an application from a 71 year old “gentleman” (I shall call him “Ted” for the purposes of this diary entry) to drive my team to bookings, I had little hesitation in feeling that the few girls that needed a driver would be far safer with Ted (who had a lovely mercedes car) than they would with a younger person. How wrong could I be.
Ted turned out to what I can only call (and I make no apologies here for being so blunt) a dirty old man. A couple of times out taking girls to booking under his belt and he must have then felt safe and he made his move. His agenda was to take the girl to the booking and then take her back to his home. On the way to the booking, one young girl was obviously flattered by Ted’s attention to detail on his culinary skills. She did not realise where the conversation was leading until she was on the journey home with him. After checking in with me and confirming that she was on her way home, Ted obviously felt it was time to make his move and he told her that he was taking her home to give her dinner seeing as she was so interested in his cooking but then he would also ensure that he had desserts by “licking her out”. She refused – what did Ted do. He pulled over to the hard shoulder of the motorway he was on, he opened the door and told her to get out. Its pitch black, its a quiet part of the motorway and he is 71 years old frightening an 18 year old girl. I knew nothing til after she finally got home.
Ted did take her home but she was badly frightened and that was the end of Ted. I did not leave it there but did discuss this with Ted as I was truly horrified but learning experiences I have found aplenty since entering this industry. What did Ted do … he threatened me with his mates giving me a beating for daring to tell him what to do. It was all hot air but it was just as scary for me in the way he threatened me.
I got put off drivers after that. No matter how many times I may have wanted to trust again, it takes only one sour experience to get me to learn a lesson. I have, however, allowed the odd girl in the team to have her friend drive her but the girls have soon realised that friends let them down at the last moment and when that means I have to let the client down then I take them off the team immediately – second chances I no longer give.
So, drivers for escorts – good or bad? If you want to run a professional non-seedy company, women who are their own career women and have their own independence (financially and emotionally) a definite no to having drivers for escorts. If you want to earn the vast quantities of money that this industry provides by accepting on demand bookings all hours of the day and night then both your girls and your agency are safer if they do have drivers. The agency gets its cut via the driver without chasing up the girl and the girl cannot get away without paying the driver.
I personally do not like the feeling that an activity is controlled and having a driver take a girl to a client … yuck … nasty taste this leaves. There is nothing worse than a girl coming out of a taxi and going into a client and saying, I have to pay the driver so please pay me now and I will be back in a minute … can you trust?
